CARTRIDGE TYPES

RL Round Linear
  • lines, contours

RL-type cartridges are designed for creating contours, lines and details. They have extremely precise, rigid and focused blades.
RS Round Shader
  • thicker contours  
  • larger fills 
RS-type cartridges differ from RL cartridges in having a loose needle placement, allowing more pigment to get under the skin.
MG Magnum
  • shading  
  • large fills 
Magnums, which feature two rows of needles, are designed mainly for creating large fills. They can also be used for wide and strong contours.
FL Flat

FL-type cartridges are similar in construction to Magnum, but they feature one rather than two rows of needles. They leave a more transparent mark on the skin.
CF Slope

Varying-length needles in a single row, arranged in descending order. Perfect for achieving a compact shadow effect and varying intensity depending on how the cartridge is tilted relative to the skin.

TAPER

Taper refers to the degree and the way the needle is sharpened. Kwadron® offers various types of tapers in their needles, allowing for a perfect match of the cartridge to the specific technique, type of work, and client's skin. With us, every desired effect is achievable!

LONG TAPER (LT) The needle is sharpened along a length of 7 mm. Thanks to this, the blade is very slim and leaves a precise, distinct point on the skin.
POINT TAPER (PT)

The needle is double-sharpened. In addition to the regular sharpening, the tip of the needle has been additionally sharpened at a different, more open angle. The PT needle is not as sharp as the LT, creating a more delicate impact on the skin.

UT
ULTRASHORT TAPER (UT)

The needle is sharpened very shortly (2 mm). Such a short taper leaves a discreet and slightly blurred trace.

T
TEXTURED (T)

Needles marked with the letter "T" have textured walls, allowing for the introduction of a larger amount of pigment into the skin.

NEEDLE THICKNESS

Kwadron® PMU Optima cartridges offer a choice of 6 different needle thicknesses (diameters). This allows for an even better match of the cartridge to the pigmentation technique and individual client needs.
